IBF Policy Priorities
The Irish Banking Federation (IBF) works with its member institutions to address a range of issues. It keeps its member institutions informed on a range of political and economic developments and helps members to fulfil their regulatory and legislative obligations. It acts as a forum for members to share and exchange views and information and as a principal voice of the banking and financial services industry in dialogue with other representative bodies, regulatory authorities and government at both the national and international level.
Committees and working groups comprising representatives of member institutions assist in the formulation of IBF common positions on key issues and examine proposed legislation requiring specialised knowledge.
